The History of Oaks Development Group
In 1983, Founder Max Oaks envisioned a company that pushed the envelope by going beyond the scope of traditional construction creating a company that truly partnered with the client. Max developed a building process that is effortless for his customers by relieving the pressure associated with complex building projects and creating a warm, friendly experience for the client.
By using this methodology, the company quickly grew through referrals and repeat business and completed a multitude of projects with the first decade. Toward the early 90’s, Oaks turned toward commercial building projects, starting with the Preston Fairways office development. In the late 90’s, Oaks had developed a market niche with medical/professional office space, offering tenants ownership in the building in exchange for a long term lease.
Oaks Development Group is headquartered in Cary, North Carolina with additional offices in San Antonio, TX; Savannah, GA; Tampa, FL; and Wilmington, NC.
